              Piece1
I heard a child say timidly:
                           I am a jackstraw
He is standing in the fields
The nearby sparrows in mud coat
Visited him now and then
There is the fire in air at day
And golden powder at night
I saw the child still standing in the fields
Though the gossip of the birds ceased long before
我听到一个小孩羞怯地说：我是一个稻草人/他站在田野里/
周围的一身泥土色外套的麻雀纷纷来拜访他/
白天空气里有把火/夜晚飘洒着金粉/我看着稻草人一直站在田野里/
即使那些鸟雀的呱噪早已逝去

                Piece 2
Today I was very astonished to notice my coldness
The most beautiful scene I may see or feel
Will to be expressed in a cold and accurate way
Cold like my wax doll’s lips
Horribly I am becoming an emotionless creature
After discerning this case, I am so trembling
That I fall my pen all the whiles helplessly
I drink several glasses of water---
(The heavenly water enters my body like a kind of bloomy plant
Which innerved me at once)
今天我非常震惊地注意到我的冷漠/那些我可能看到和感受的最美/
用一种冷静和精确的方式表达/像蜡娃娃的嘴唇一般冷
有些恐惧的，我好像变成没有激动的生物/一识别出这个情况/
我猛烈颤抖起来/以至于我感到无助不时地掉下笔
我喝下几杯水（纯净的水像开花的植物一般流入我的身体，它们立刻穿透了我）

Country lanes? City roads? ---
But on which to place the feet?
Jackstraw he does not know
Since his feet are fixed on a crossbar
Do need a pair of shoes
A Pair of woolen socks?
I do not know the flying katydids
They have some greenish songs
The moon is sleeping now
I am to climb on bed too
乡间小道/城市的马路/但是在哪里放下双脚？/
稻草人不知道/因为它的双脚给钉在了十字架子上/
的确需要一双鞋/还是一双温暖的羊毛袜？/
我不认识那些飞舞的纺织娘/它们在唱着些绿莹莹的歌曲
月亮现在也在睡觉/
我也要爬上床去

                  Piece 4
In the dream
I heard the winds whistle happily about jackstraw
And below his hat away
在一个梦里/我听到风快乐的围绕着稻草人吹口哨/
吹跑了他的帽子
Several yellow butterflies rested on his face
And suddenly a pink water soaked his shoes
几个黄色的蝴蝶歇息在他脸上/
突然，一条粉色的小河打湿了他的鞋
He then cried
Sobbing
Trying to lift his feet
于是他哭了/抽泣着/试着抬起双脚
The feet was heavy
like the white stone in water bank
双脚像河岸上的白色石子一样沉重
He wiped off his tears
And opened his black eyes
他擦去眼泪/睁开黑色眸子
The moon was down
Because her bed sank
月亮已经落下/因为她的床沉没了

He timidly wiped off tears with the yellow quilt
Which slide off from her fairy bed
Then jackstraw saw the sweet face of the yellow moon
She was like our golden grains
She was shining as the yellow sunflower in the desert
Where giant camels kneeled down in dancing sands
And the homeward sun almost closed his window
他怯怯的用黄色的月亮被子擦着眼泪/
这床被子从月亮女神的床上滑下/随后稻草人看见了黄色月亮甜美的脸庞/
她就像我们金色的麦子/
像干燥地闪耀的黄色向日葵/那儿骆驼在跳舞的沙粒里跪下/
回家的太阳赶快关紧他的窗子
He stopped sobbing
And began to observe all around
他的抽泣停止了/开始观察四周
It was a good thing to stand in the fields
He thought
站在广袤的田野里真好/他想着
While the clouds white as cotton flowers
Shine as real silk—
Passed overhead
当云彩洁白的像棉花/闪耀的像丝绸/飘过头顶
I got you
His heart cheered
我看见你了/他的心欢快的跳动
Waving happily are the wide and unlimited fields
整个无限的茫茫的田野欢快的起伏
The sun dazzled my eyes—
As a violet flora is gilded
太阳刺昏我的双眼/它就像一朵镀金的紫色花朵
I was heavy as the soil –But to stand up
我像大地一样沉重---但是站起来
My father and mother know each other
Then In a kind of silent
They do not look at each other
父亲和母亲彼此相认/随后在一种无声里/不再相望
In sunshine the nameless bird sings its song again and again
阳光里，无名的鸟儿把它的歌唱了一遍又一遍

                  Piece 6
I was to go to a tree
A tall tree in the firmament
A tall tree’s face shaped as a heart
A tall tree over the hill
A tall tree beneath a bird
A tall tree connected the rainbow and me
Where I saw lovers stand
And kids
我要到一棵树那儿去/苍穹里的一棵高高的树/一棵树
它的脸像一颗心脏/一棵山岗上的高高的树/一棵飞鸟下的高高的树
一棵高高的树连接着彩虹和我/那儿，我看见恋人们站着，还有孩子

I will arise to be a firefly
To the sleeping day
Where now is veiled purple;
The chilly winds chase the fire
And our sun fires dim
Come to tell me softly:
another summer             and love
我要起床去做一只萤火虫/去沉睡的白昼/那儿，现在蒙着一层紫色/
冷风追赶着火焰/我们太阳的火焰退熄了

来告诉我
温柔地：又一个夏天            和爱

天涯孤鹰
